We will be making a trip up to Siem Reap to visit the Orphans in the first quarter of 2010, date yet to be confirmed.
For this trip, we aim to collect the following due to our weight restriction for now.
Items we hope you can contribute:-
1. 50 toothbrushes
2. 50 toothpastes
3. 50 bars of soap
4. Any t-shirts of Small/Medium size (preferably not too old & tattered) or children's clothings (aged 4-12 yrs)
5. 50 pairs of white school shoes (cloth type)
6. 30 boxes of crayons/colouring pencils
7. 30 colouring books/childrens' activity books/to learn ABC & numbers/or self made learning materials
8. Story books for children of any kind in English
9. 20 plastic water bottles
10. 50 pencils & erasers
11. Toys of any kind (e.g. jigsaws, dolls, soft toys, figurines etc.) preferably not too dirty or old, im sure the children would be happy to receive some of these.
Do let me know which items you will be interested to contribute. We hope to achieve more than what we have targeted so that we can bring more items and deliver them over to another orphanage in Siem Reap if hopefully some friends decide to join us on the trip! :) INTENT.

my hubby (sir_wilson) & I just returned from Siem reap a couple of days ago.. and i feel what you felt when you were there..
the question we had for ourself during this trip was.. " how much does it really cost to keep a person alive?" after this trip.. we know that as lil as 1USD goes a long way...
We popped by an orphanage as well.. n bought huge sack of rice, oil and salt but i was pretty sad cos, i later knew that what we bought could only feed 65 kids in 1.5 days!
its a lil challenging for me to arrange somthing as we are both based in u UAE.. and when i saw that you had this going.. i knew i had to do something too! :)
